midnight wanderings

me and my silver torch.

last nite we had a little chat about some hard things, but there was a breakthrough. i want to be on this journey of faith. i want to be on it even if it means deep hurt. i want to be on it even if it isn't safe. i miss the journey. i've been resting in the house of tom bombadil for a few days, and now it is time to face the barrow-wight.

do adventures ever have an end?

i hope not.

oh i wish i had the belief that this was the beginning. i can't tell if i'm at the edge of the jordan or the edge of the red sea.

just remember exodus 5-6. notice what God tells moses to ask pharoah for and what He winds up giving the nation of israel. erin, God gave you the desire for the purple bicycle with the banana seat, streamers, crooked tires and a smashed reflector so He can delight in giving you the green convertable beemer with the 12-disc cd changer, lifetime warranty, leather seats, and michelin tires.

adventure?

"Well!" said Peter, "We have had a time!"
"Bother!" said Edmund. "
I've left my new torch in Narnia!"

jer. 43:17
See, i am doing a new thing!
now it springs up; i am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

gloamer: the best part is that he "accidently" (i say that blinking my eyes) brought it with him in the first place on his lovely adventure....

i continue to love edmund.
